Make A Difference

If you have a heart for the hurting children in our nation, you can make a difference. Whether you volunteer, become a prayer partner, or make a donation, you can help change the lives of the foster children in Central Texas.

Feel that tug on your heart? Don’t ignore it.

Make a difference.

Anyone who does anything to help a child in his life is a hero.

Full-Week Camp Volunteers

Counselors are assigned only two children each. This gives each camper the love, attention, and safety they need so badly. Lots of energy and patience are required, but the rewards are great!

Assistant Counselors perform many functions at camp, including helping to maintain our rule of “two-deep” with our campers. They generally stay with one particular group of counselors/campers.

Ready to step in wherever needed, these “extended family members” supply patience, wisdom, and love when a camper needs a little extra attention.

Our campers LOVE to build things! Birdhouses, tool boxes, bug habitats… you name it. If you love working with wood and children, this is the spot for you.

Tie-dying tees, braiding friendship bracelets, painting rocks, making sand sculptures in bottles, creating a name plaque for their bunk… Come teach our campers some new crafts!

Love to play games and spend time outdoors? Our coach helps kids have fun where everyone is a winner and nobody is left out. Ever play Ga-ga ball? Get ready for tons of laughter!

What child doesn’t love to dress up in fancy clothes and pretend to be an elegant adult? Help our campers find just the right dress-up outfit and then serve them “tea” at our popular Tea Party.

Safety is key when our campers are in the water! If you love sunshine and laughter, come and splash with our campers!

Anyone ever tell you to stop being so dramatic? Well, don’t stop! Use that gift to teach our campers how much God loves them!

Nurses keep our campers and staff healthy by dispensing any necessary medications or first aid. They also help register campers at our pickup location.

Every camper takes home a memory book full of photos of their time at camp. If you have a good camera and love to capture kids in action, you will enjoy this job!

Campers get very hungry with all their activities. You should see them eat! If you can operate a can opener and boil water, we can use you on our kitchen crew (really!)

Volunteers serving at camp for the full week must have a background check and must attend training sessions. Click the red buttons to apply.

Part-time Volunteers

As our families arrive at our pickup location on Monday morning, we need a couple of folks to register the campers, help families fill out any missing paperwork, collect medications, and give camp information to the foster parents.

Have a flair for decorating? Love the commotion of a good party? Well, you’ll love “Everybody’s Birthday Party” on Thursday. Come decorate the dining hall, serve some cake, and listen to the laughter of the campers having fun.

It may not be the most glamorous position at camp, but you will definitely be the most appreciated! On Friday morning, help us clean up the campground (while the counselors are corralling the very-tired campers).

Part Time Volunteers do not need a background check and are not required to attend training sessions.
